This was what I came home to find this year. In years past Rob has had the house repainted, porches made and dura ceramic tiles placed in the bathrooms. Slowly but surely our house is coming along.

Mantua
We love, love going up the mountain about 10 miles from BC to a small camping ground, were the kids run and splash in the water and we have a small picinic. The kids always look forward to going, this year they were a bit hesitant for fear of snakes which just added a comedic factor to the days trip.
A Day at the Park
There is a really nice park just up the street from my parents home and we like to go there and just take in the lush green scenery and roll down the big hill.

Home Sweet Home
The kids and I actually came into Fargo on Wednesday, but...I have been waiting for my luggage, that, of course, has all my EVERYTHING! I wanted to post more pictures of my trip before doing the actual "Home" blog, but, oh well *sigh* things never work out the way you have them all in your head. I will have to do a "Vacation Finale" blog that will now be out of order, but I am sure you all wont mind (it will bother me the most).
So, our trip home was great...really! Traveling will 3 kids isn't all that bad, if you have my kids ;) The only hitch was our luggage not coming in with us. I didn't get too worked up about it, only because I was HOME!
The kids were so excited to be home and to finally see Dad. Rob was in heaven with all of us! Alot had changed in 2 weeks, especially with Creed. While we were gone he learned how to get up on all 4's as pictured below, from the crawling position he can now sit and he has popped out another tooth, that would be 2 now. He has figured out that he gets quite the reaction when he smiles, so he is smiling all the time and is so happy. What a little joy he is!
Rob is such a spoiler! Usually when I go away for a bit, I come home and he has some sort of surprise for me. This year he had the apron slab poured, so we now have a huge cement slab in front of the garage that the kids can ride their bikes, skateboards & roller blades on. We have a place for the grill too! Then on Thursday the guys came back and poured the sidewalk to the front door :) Pictures to come! Today they were back and poured the rest of the sidewalk, 200 ft. total, it goes around the whole house. This is going to save me from the mud and dirt that is ever in my entryways. I am excited because I can now start planting the bushes and flowers that I have always felt my home was lacking. It has really transformed the house.
The kids had their 2nd tee ball practice on Thursday. They had a great time and for not having been to all the practices they did very well. However, they are off now til the week after next they were a little disappointed about that.
Well, we had a great time away, but we are so glad to be home. I have lots of pictures that I will be posting so stay tuned.

Friends are Friends Forever...
This goes to show you that even if 18 years pass you bye, Friends are Truly Friends forever! Stace, Mauro and I have known each other for years and years. He has seen the worst of me ( for those of you who remember all those BAD pics that were being posted on my myspace a few months ago, that was Mauro...trying to pull me back into that nightmare!)
He and his partner Sebastian came up to visit while I stayed at Stacie's place this weekend. We had such a fabulous time reminiscing and catching up. We laughed and laughed till we just about had muscle cramps in our cheeks. It was so neat to experience once again that though time keeps moving on you can really pick right up where you left off with those that have been written on our hearts in times passed. I love you guys!

Alice Young
On our flight from Denver to SLC I sat across the aisle from this magnificent women, of course, I didn't know it at the time, but was I in for a treat! We visited a bit on the plane and she commented on how "brave" I was to travel with 3 young children more than once :) She also thought that the two older children were so well behaved. I was a bit preoccupied so I didn't feel like I gave her much of me. But I later found out that I made quite the impression.
When we returned from Arizona I had a message on the answering machine. She wanted to get together with me and the kids while I was here, if that was possible. I called her back and we had such a nice conversation on the phone, I was really looking forward to our face to face meeting. We made a date for Friday morning. She welcomed us into her home with cookies and coffee, YUM and the kids felt right at home as she had books upon books for them to enjoy. Our visit consisted of multiple conversations that never really were buttoned up for there were just too many things to say. I will forever have this woman in my life. She and I are some what of a kindred spirit. And I am so thankful that the LORD brought us together.
