I Forgot to mention...

GOLD CUP

Micah and Emma both participated in the 2011 Music Festival sponsored by the NFMC (National Federation of Music Clubs). This was M's 3rd year participating which means if he succeeded in receiving another round of Superiors in his Hymns he would be rewarded his 1st Gold Cup. Guess what? He did! What a huge accomplishment for this kid! He is playing piano like no body's business and I am so proud of him. This was his first year playing duets (2 pieces) and they both received Superior marks, phew, is all I have to say ( I was sweating it!)
This was Emma's 2nd year participating in the Festival. The amazing part is that last year she received superiors in both of her categories and this year she did again, however, this year she added a third category, duets. So she is on track to receiving 2 Gold Cups next year.
***For those who may be confused, just to clarify, you must participate in the festival, select the same category each year and receive Superior marks 3 years in a row before being rewarded a Gold Cup.

The Love Month

Awww, I just heart this picture of my boys.
Some brotherly love...
Our first ski trip this year was on February 13, because it has been so dog gone cold up in these parts...
we waited til it was too warm, the snow was sticky and the wind just about blew us back up the hill...ahem, mountian.
Rob is so sweet and such a spoiler. A sweet red rose for Em
And a gorgeous vase of whites for me.

The In Between

Jacob asked "Why are my eyes closed in every picture I take?" Angie (his wife) replied "cuz your a pothead." :) Well, Jay, here are a couple of nice pictures of you, one with your eyes closed and one with them open. I like both, because I love you, pothead and all! I think it is because your Mom's son :D
You two are so perfect for each other.
Miss Kylee was MIA for a while, but she is back and we love it!
Ky is Jacob's soon to be 13 year old daughter.
These two=trouble!
C and I had a great time in Utah. We missed the other 3 members of our family almost more than we could bare. Were are grateful to be home...complete again!

Isabelle Susan

I had the highest honor and privilege of seeing this beautiful baby girl be born. My Bestest Friend in the whole wide world had the surprise of her life last summer when she found out she was expecting for the 1st time in 9 years! Needless to say, she is a blessing and miracle from the Lord God Almighty and is so perfectly loved by her older brother Broxton and big sister Macie.
Creed and I flew out to Utah on January 22 and baby Isabelle was born on Monday January 24. She is just a tiny little one and so mild mannered, she didn't fuss hardly at all once in Momma's arms and took to nursing right away. I am so in love with that whole day and just the memory of it brings tears of joy to my eyes.

She is so perfect and is a wonderful mix of both mommy and daddy.
Proud daddy
Proud big sister.

Thank you so much Stac, for allowing me to be so completely involved in your glorious day. Tis an experience I will never forget. Love you! XO
