September

M's toothless smile,
E on her first day of school,
M on his first day of kindergarden,
E riding without training wheels.

September has brought many changes to our family. School started on the 4th. Micah began his first full week and got right into the swing of things. He loves, loves, loves school. The fact that he now goes to school all day all week like his big cool cousins, is quite the pride booster for him. Emma was able to start out small, which turned out to be a blessing for us all. She didn't start her first 4 day week til the 3rd week of September, so that gave her some adjustment time. She comes home tired and fussy, and by Friday it is all I can do to not lock her in her room.
Micah lost his first tooth on the 6th of September. He first noticed that it was loose on Wednesday and by 8 o'clock Thursday night he had it out all on his own. He didn't call down for us to come and see or anything, he just did it all on his own.
Emma has now had her training wheels removed! All of a sudden Micah comes running into the house yelling that I needed to come quick. I am thinking that something terrible has happened and then he says that Emma is riding her bike without her training wheels. I quick run for the camera and the video camera and by the time I waddle out there she is off, all by herself. She seriously learned in like 5 minutes. She, apparently, decided that today is the day and there was no looking back.
On Thursday the 27th, I went in to visit the OBGYN, Dr. Brown who will perform my c-section. He has delivered both Micah and Emma as well. He is a fine Dr. just very, very busy. He is also the Mayor of Grand Forks. In each of his offices he has at least 4 cork boards full of pictures of the babies he has delivered, there has to be thousands. Anyways, this was just a meeting to discuss my chart and history. He reiterated that I was not recommended for a vaginal birth and was pleased to see that I wasn't going to try. I went there hopeful the I could have baby by November 29th, but, he wasn't going to go by the ultrasound EDD, therefore, I have to wait a bit longer. By the end of our meeting we agreed that December 10th would work out fine. Emma's birthday is on the 5 th and it would have been nice for baby to be there, but when I told her she didn't seem to mind. I am sad that it will be a longer wait to hold this little one, on the other hand I will be able to at least make a cake for E's birthday.
Thanks for reading my first real entry. I know that I was rather long winded, but there has been alot going on. I have yet to talk about our harvest, I will leave that for another day. God Bless and take care, my loved ones.
