May 9th

It had been windy all thru the night and it felt like it could rain, but I never expected SNOW...again! It is May 9th isn't it? Snow is not suppose to fall on May 9th! When the girls got up that morning they asked if they could go outside. I frowned and walked them over to the Library window and Brenna said it best " What!!! Snow!!! How can it be snow!" and then once again, poor Emma, "I hate snow!" as she sobs. It snowed till around Noon and then it melted, but still, it should be illegal for it to snow in May!

Dad,
There have been very few that can compare to you.
Rob is lucky that he is such a handy man, otherwise, I don't know how this marriage would have worked. You have spoiled me from the beginning :) With your abilities to fix EVERYTHING, make what you have work, or make something that will work. You have always been so strong and capable, there just isn't anything you can't do.
You took me in and loved me so much that I have never felt abandoned or unwanted (when that could have been the story of my life). You protected me and always made me feel secure. Because of your love for me I knew I was treasured and valued. I never felt like I had to go find love anywhere else. Even now I know without a shadow of doubt that you would be there for me, you would stop your life to rescue mine. Thank you for being my hero. I love you!
Happy Birthday, Daddy!
