Long Weekend

A truck, handcrafted by Micah Our sweet dancing Angel

I am really looking forward to this coming weekend. Today is the last day of school for the kids and E has dance, but there wont be KFC tonight, *big sigh*. Wednesdays are our busiest days of the week and I am looking forward to not rushing around so much.

Rob is going to try and harvest, 5% of the 10% reserved, beets today. It was way too wet yesterday. Oh, you should see the roads they are so slick with field mud, it is almost worst than ice. There is a chance for showers tonight and then rain all day tomorrow. Therefore, Rob is thinking if there is a day to get it done, today would be that day. I hope it works!

Both of the kids are warring off the sniffles. Micah is really great when it comes to taking an immune booster, but E~she is terrible. This morning she could hardly breath out of her nose, so, I thought she would be desperate for something. I tried Zicam, the q-tip nose wiper thingys. She was amazed at how quickly she was able to breath. I asked her if she trusted me now, she said yes! M has that annoying morning cough that he tries to stifle and it takes like 10 min. to get it all out! ARGH! I am like, son, just let it go!

I am hopeful that it wont turn into the full blown sickness that will put a damper in our weekend.

Rob wants to take off this weekend and go to Duluth. I am so excited! This will be a much needed time away. The kids are at a great age and I think they will find Duluth fascinating. We plan on going to all the hot spots. I will be taking lots of shots, so keep a look out!
